FCGB 4-6-2 4674
The modification of this 1919 Alco built metre gauge 4-6-2 was to prove that Rio Turbio coal was of suitable quality for mainline use in Argentina. This was the first project Porta undertook having moved from RFIRT to INTI. In addition to proving Rio Turbio coal 4674 was also used for other combustion experimentation and proved to be a very important locomotive.
