La Ligne du Gevaudan from Le Monastier to La Bastide-St-Laurent-les-Bains.
1 Having misread the timetable I didn't expect this train, so I grabbed shot out of the car window! This is the 12:45 from Nîmes to Mende near Allenc. It was travelling pretty sedately along this unfenced line on wooden sleepered jointed rail. 24 June 2011

17 At La Bastide-St-Laurent-les-Bainst the Trans-Lozérien lines comes in from behind the camera on the left with the two lines on the right forming part of La Ligne des Cevennes. A train of wood products, run by Euro Cargo Rail, heads south This train runs from Langeac to Tarascon. 24 June 2011.

63 South of Le Monastier station the Trans-Lozérien joins la Ligne des Causses. The electriified Ligne des Causses is the nearer of the two lines. The lines runs parallel into Le Monastier station. The railway bridge here crosses the rover Lot whilst the concrete viaduct carries the N88 road to and from the A75 autoroute. It would be nice if the railways in this region could benefit from this level of investment. 26 June 2011.
