Dubai 2001

I visited Dubai for a few days as a stop-over on my way to Australia in May 2001. Here is a small selection of my photographs (please note NO trains - sorry !) I really enjoyed Dubai - it was an interesting mix of old and new. It was also very safe ! The total lack of serious security measures in the Gold souq was an real eye opener.
