As some may have guessed a slight delay has crept into the plans to return 6024 to the mainline. Nothing too serious but it does mean the test run plan for September 2nd will not be going ahead. However every cloud has a silver lining - now we have a bit more time to ensure the loco and coach are looking at their best.

First things first - a cuppa. Outside the shed with the almost complete 6024 residing inside from the left Keith Clarke, Richard Abbey, John Salter, Huw Button, Chris Brown and Maurice Downes all enjoy a break. August 28 2004
